Reviewers’ Profile and Responsibilities
A reviewer is expected to evaluate manuscripts in accordance with COPE principles.
Reviewers must meet the following requirements:
- Hold no conflicts of interest with any of the authors of the reviewed manuscript.
- Should not have been published in the recent three years with the authors of the reviewed manuscript.
- Hold a PhD.
- Have appropriate experience and a publication record in the submitted manuscript’s field.
- Have an official academic affiliation (or if they are retired from an academic institution, they have the right to participate in academic evaluation procedures).
- Should not be affiliated with the author’s institution.
