Abstract:
In Slavic and in Western scientific literature a rich terminological apparatus has been created, with which such sciences as Ethnolinguistics, Linguoculturology, Cognitive linguistics are expressed. However, a large number of terms still do not have exact and commonly used meaning. In Bulgarian linguistics, there is a ripe need for the accumulated terminological material to be systematized and classified. A Dictionary is the most appropriate way to do this.
The purpose of the Dictionary is to clarify and synthesize and, as far as the material allows, to codify the concepts included in the terminological apparatus of these scientific disciplines. It would be useful both for students interested in these new and dynamically developing linguistic disciplines, and for established scholars seeking new approaches in their research.
