The pupils from Aksakov High School showed how important it is to write correctly

“The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!” is an interesting campaign of the Institute for Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, in which students from Prof. Ivan Sergejevich Aksakov High School in Pazardzhik took part on 26th May 2017. The campaign aims to show the great importance of education and science for the development of society.

The bad weather did not frighten the high school students who, starting early in the morning, launched the initiative. People from various ages had the opportunity to check their spelling and punctuation skills through a short dictation, thus testifying their respect for Bulgarian education and culture, and to their native Bulgarian language. Excellent knowledge was shown by Mrs. Boryana Ugrinova, who did not make any mistakes. The students also showed their skills. The regional media promoted the event.
