The Campaign “The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!” in Blagoevgrad
The campaign “The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!” of the Institute for Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was held in Blagoevgrad at the initiative of Mrs. Svetla Borisova, a Bulgarian language teacher at Second Primary School “Dimitar Blagoev”. The Culture Department of Blagoevgrad Municipality also supported the campaign by providing equipment for the dictation and gifts for the participants.
All pupils from the 6th and 7th grade of Second Primary School “Dimitar Blagoev”, who have good knowledge of Bulgarian language, have actively participated in the initiative. Not only did they urge citizens to participate, but they took the role of “teachers” by checking the dictations and explaining the mistakes made. There were many people willing to participate, paying tribute to the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and Slavonic literature.
