“The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!” in Galabovo
“Pupils from Vasil Levski School in Galabovo took part in the initiative “The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!”, said Mrs Kremena Koleva, a teacher at the school. “For the Bulgarian language teachers it is very important every youth to have good literacy skills. This is why at our school the dictations and various types of essays are performed on a daily basis. And this is why we decided to take part in the campaign of the Institute for Bulgarian Language.”
The dictation was conducted with pupils from Vasil Levski School from two age groups: 5th to 8th grade and from 9th to 10th grade. The dictation results are analysed and Bulgarian language teachers are proud to say that 5 of the participants did not make any mistakes and the rest made different types of minor errors. For the teachers from Vasil Levski School in Galabovo it is important to encourage the pupils’ love for their language, as well as their motivation to improve their language culture.
