Awards and grants:

2004: Sofia, First Prize at the “National Science Fund Examining” MES to work on a research project “Bulgarian Dialect Dictionary”; head – Luchia Antonova-Vasileva.

2017: Scientific leader of the first prize-winning student institute at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in the field of Bulgarian dialectology and sociolinguistics project of Ralitsa Plamenova Zhekova, Class X, PPMG “Dobri P. Chintulov”, city of Sliven; “The disappearing names of flowers in my grandmother’s weedy garden”, research supervisors: Veselina Georgieva Toneva and Assoc. Prof. PhD. Iliyana Garavalova – for research in the field of Bulgarian dialectology and sociolinguistics, for the research interest shown in the study of trends related to aging and the disappearance of words from the Bulgarian language, with which the population of Sliven named favorite, popular garden flowers and for excellent handling of the tasks set in the research.
2023: Prize for a collective monograph of national significance for the book The place of the Bulgarian dialect lexicon among the dialect lexicon of languages in Europe (linguographic study) with authors: Antonova-Vasileva, L., Il.
