LINGUISTIQUE BALKANIQUE
BALKAN LINGUISTICS JOURNAL is a periodical with an exclusive focus on Balkan linguistics. It was founded in 1959 by the famous Bulgarian scholar academician Vladimir Georgiev.
Area of Specialization
Articles deal with a broad variety of issues ranging from theoretical problems of the Balkan Sprachbund to specific aspects of the relations among the ancient and modern Balkan languages, and the relations of the Balkan languages with other Indo-European and non-Indo-European languages.
Balkan Linguistics Journal reviews publications in the area of Balkan and Indo-European studies.
The articles are published in four languages: French, German, English and Russian.
Each volume consists of 3 issues.
