On the occasion of 1 November, the Day of the National Revival Leaders, the Institute for Bulgarian Language “Prof. Lyubomir Andreychin” at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences extends its greetings to everyone celebrating this day, on which we honour the educators, intellectuals, and freedom fighters who helped shape and preserve the Bulgarian national spirit and identity. Let us also remember the contemporary revival leaders who tirelessly contribute to science, education, and culture.
To mark the occasion, the Institute organised a short language game with prizes, including the multi-volume Bulgarian Etymological Dictionary.
We would like to thank everyone who took part in the “Get to Know the Bulgarian Language!” game. The game has now concluded. Out of a total of 1,009 participants, 651 answered all questions correctly. The draw for the winners was conducted by a five-member committee on 10 November 2025 (Monday) at 12:00 p.m.
The grand prize was awarded to Teodor Velinov.
