• The Institute for Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences offers:
• Education in the field of the modern linguistic theories and their application in the description of the Bulgarian language;
• Education aiming at improving of the professional competence in teaching Bulgarian as first language in high school;
• Education in accordance with the new approaches in examining and evaluating communicative competence of Bulgarian as first language in high school;
• Specialists from the Institute teach various courses of Bulgarian as a second language to foreign students and citizens.
