For a Third Consecutive Year the Institute for Bulgarian Language Takes Part in the National Reading Week

The Institute for Bulgarian Language is traditionally a partner of the Ministry of Education and Science in organising the National Reading Week. On 13th December 2017 the Institute visited the Specialised Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School in the town of Kazanlak, whose headteacher is Krasimir Damyanov. Young researchers from the Institute carried out a quiz related to lexicology and grammar of Bulgarian. The event was attended by Ivan Zhelyazkov from the Regional Educational Council in Stara Zagora, Tsvetolina Simeonova – deputy mayor of Education and headteacher of Paisii Hilendarski School, and Rumyana Sandalova – senior expert on Education in Municipality of Kazanlak.

The linguistic problems from the quiz are compiled within the framework of the project “The Written Word Remains. Write Correctly!” in the priority area “Introducing Modern Methods in Education and Work with Young Talents” of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
