
On 17 December 2025 at 4:00 p.m., the jubilee volume “Language, Theory, Interpretations”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the internationally renowned Bulgarian linguist Prof. DrSc Stefana Dimitrova, will be presented at the BIAD Concert Hall (108 Georgi S. Rakovski Street, Sofia).
The volume is a joint initiative of the Institute for Bulgarian Language “Prof. Lyubomir Andreychin” at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Philology of Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” and is published under the Institute’s imprint.
The 850-page volume brings together contributions by 69 scholars from Bulgaria and abroad. The studies included in the collection address a wide range of topics, from core linguistic disciplines – phonetics and phonology, lexical semantics, morphology, pragmatics, and linguoculturology – to issues related to literature and culture.
The scientific editor of the volume is Assoc. Prof. Dr Encho Tilev (Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski”), who also served as co-editor together with Assist. Prof. Dr Hristina Kukova from the Institute for Bulgarian Language “Prof. Lyubomir Andreychin” at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences
